The sermon is not a time to push a political agenda, grind an axe, or to step upon a soapbox, with neck craned, jaw set, and fist clenched. It is however, the time to share the Word of God as He has spoken: through nature, scripture, reason, tradition, experience, but most fully and graciously in Jesus, the Christ.
